call from pm/ Hmmmmm

a little concerned about a call i got from my pm office today. first it's odd that they called to considering their closed. when they called they said i need a driver and not to take aspirin or nsaids. this is what i
know. a week ago thursday is when i had the pump filled and this monday the doc is supposes to adjust
the meds in the pump but not sure why i got the phone call. just odd....any ideas???

Lots of PM's use an answering service after hours and on the weekends, so it sounds like there was just a note in the system to call you.

They probably want you to have a driver because they expect to make a significant adjustment to the meds in your pump, and they want you to get home safely.

By not taking any other pain relieving agents, they'll have a truer idea of where your pain is at, which will give them a better chance of getting the pump adjustment right.

Definitely nothing to worry about :)

well thank you everyone for the replies. turns out it was a routine appt. nothning special about today. turns out it was an answering service that called on saturday. my pm adjusted the pump some and refilled a script for oxycodone for b/t meds. he said i could come in on mondays if i felt i needed an adjustment and i thought that was great.(no appt. needed) said he wants me to be comfortable.
also making graduall adjustments here and there. also that i don't need a driver with me.
sop now just waiting to feel a little better for the hoilidays...:)
