Bladder mesh /sling post-surgical pain +

Hi ,I have been suffering for two years since my bladder mesh surgery
I have only my GP trying to help me with pain RX
Ive been shunned from the urologist who did the procedure, he is glad I can urinate !!! A second opinion from a Uro/Gyn suggestions: Found myself doing bladder installations to numb the pain for a few hours . Then to some very expensive and invasive physical therapy of the pelvic floor , not to mention getting reoccuring infections after all these expensive yet useless treatments...Ive been to pain Dr.s , whom tell me there is no other help for this kind of pain, only prescriptions can help you. And now the pharmacies will not fill my scripts (Walgreens)!!!!
With one day notice : I drop it off , they play nice( Smiths) & say pick it up later today .....then the phone call st my workplace "sorry we can not fill this, maybe wednesday but not sure if then either " !!! ***
I HAVE 1 pill left after taking Opana 40 mg for two years now & just like that ..... Sorry .... I guess they are not health care concious
Now what should I expect physically other than the pain
Never went cold turkey before , honestly I Am Scared !!!
Is it not there job to help you , they are the ones who studied these meds ...

Susie has the best advice! Get ahold of your Dr as soon as possible! He can change the med. I understand its a holiday week and that may prove difficult. Try! If that fails go to Walgreens and explain to the RPH that your out, totally and your not going to have meds during a time the Drs office is closed and would they please call other Walgreens for you and try to locate one that has some. You cannot because they will not tell you anything over the phone.

If that fails ask for your script back and go to the ER. Explain the situation, show them the script, give them Walgreens number and tell them to call if they would like but they wouldn't help you resolve this.

Ask them if there's any thing they can do to help but you cant spend all week in pain and withdrawal. They will help or not with getting your meds but they should at least give you meds to help with the w/ds.

Not sure where u live but especially in Florida we're seeing this time and time again! Many have had to change medication since some are harder to come by then others. The best possible solutions seem to be eliminating the big chain pharmacys and using Mom &Pop locally owned, better service and they order specific for their regular clients not just stock amounts. Also checking with hospital pharmacys that fill for outpatients as they're allowed to have more in stock then other pharmacys.
