Polymyalgia

I would like to know if anyone has been on 15 mgs prednisone and went from 15 for 12 days to 12.5 for 21 days and now on 7.50 for 21 days and has only been diagnosed 9 weeks now with Polymyalgia. She will probably put me on 5 mgs by the end of this month when I see her. I do have some pain in my hands and legs, nothing that I can't tolerate,comes and goes I do have diabetes and my numbers have been quite high so I'm thinking she wants to get me off prednisone as soon as possible. My last CRP was 3.0 and she said it was normal. That's when she dropped me to 7.5 I just think that she's reducing it way too fast and too soon. I would love to hear feedback on this
