….my blood pressure is a good indication of whether or not my pain meds are doing their job. At almost every single Dr visit where I needed an adjustment, the blood pressure confirmed it.
Since I work, I suppose I'm not your average chronic pain patient, and am horribly worn out when I get home. Sleeping is not a problem, but deep sleep is, and I don't think I'm getting the quality of sleep needed to restore my energy for the next day. This makes my mornings a real challenge both Physically and mentally, and it wears hard on me.
Pain meds give me the ability to function during the work hours, and I don't really have a complaint for those hours worked.
I can see if a patient was home bound most all of the time, that it may bring about the problems that you mention.
