I'm planning to try this soon...
I've done some research and found many with CP have found use in it.
Doesn't suprise me that the DEA would say that there is no medical use.
They say the same about
MJ.
IMO, the DEA(as well as most Pharmaceuticals that would rather you buy their own drugs) are not a reliable source at all. Those "addiction" symptoms sound EXACTLY like withdrawl/addiction symptoms with opiods. That DEA article sounds as biased as switching to MSNBC/FOX
Perhaps it won't help me, but it's worth a try.
and even though Kratom is "addictive"... so are all the opiates that most of us CPers take(Tolerance/addiction being interchanged here as from my research the WD symptoms are similiar to opiates)
If you are taking it for pain(just like our opiates) and you aren't over doing it to get "high" then, from my research, your chances of "addiction" are similar, if not less, than opiates.
Done a lot of research on it.
Planning to try the Bali/Thai strain.
ETA:
Don't plan to take my regular pain meds with it. That would be irresponsible. Hoping that I could take Kratom on days where my pain could be better managed with Kratom and leave my other pain meds for days that it becomes MORE than intolerable.
Also, I hope I didn't sound harsh to ScreamingEagle or Mercy. :)
You SHOULD be careful with anything you decide to take. Do research. :)
