Tramadol & Weight Loss

I've only taken Tramadol on a few occasions, years ago, (can't take it with Prozac, which I'm on, so the periods where I took it were 'in-between' the Prozac use)....but I, personally, did not have any loss of appetite or weight loss,...not to the best of my recollection.

When will you get lab work done to r/o anything else contributing?

It is most likely the Cymbalta that is causing your weight loss at the current time! Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors (SSRI) can do this to people of all ages and genders. Moreover, Cymbalta is a Selective Serotonin and Nero-epinephrine (SSNRI) Re-uptake Inhibitor. This means that it is stronger than the comparable SSRI's and will impact you more than a SSRI would. Given this information your brain is being literally flooded with the happy chemicals (Serotonin and Epinephrine) to reduce pain and increase mood stability. I am also on a SSNRI but I am on Prestiq (100mg daily) and it helps me tremendously! So I do not judge at all! I am simply saying this medication can cause stomach upset and weight loss; in fact weight loss is the 4th listed side effect when you look up Cymbalta on the web.
