At the pain clinic my dr is going to do the above------Has any one had one and if how as it stopped??????/ It will be done on my neck..........which has given me lots of headaches..

Caren, if I read your heading correctly you are talking about radio frequency ablation of the nerve endings???? If this is right, yes many of us here at HW have had that done. It is like anything else we try to get our pain down, it can be a hit or a miss. It worked wonders for my neck but did nothing for my back. It is certainly worth trying.

I am sure others will pop on & tell their stories. Take care.

yes the radio oblation on my back of my neck,,,but can it work on your4 back?????

I've had it done on my back and it did wonders for me. It helped my back pain quite a bit. It would still hurt to do certain things but it stopped hurting when I wasn't doing anything to aggravate it.

I had 6 on lumbar spine a year ago, just starting to need repeat now.

The doc is doing facet joint injections to try to find where to do ablation in cervical spine for radiating pain in neck and arms.

I had headache a few months ago, was considering injections, but it went away.

The point is to be sure where the ablation needs to be done. The test, not a treatment, is facet joint injections. Sometimes the injections do treat the problem well enough to not need the ablation.
