What are your symptoms? There is a very direct link between anxiety and a variety of pelvic urogential issues.
I have suffered from chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction for 6 years. There were some physical reasons that contributed BUT anxiety is now the MAJOR contributor to my issues.
I am not a med pro but I can give you some feedback guidance. I have been thru the ringer with drs, antibiotics, urologists etc...
Currently I am taking Lexapro to help with anxiety and its helping and I am doing pelvic floor PT to help my pelvic floor dysfunction. Where do you live? You should be able to find a pelvic floor PT specialist to help you resolve issues. Look into book called "Headache in the Pelvis"Headache or "Heal Pelvic Pain" by Amy Stein Heal-Pelvic-Pain-Strengthening-Incontinence.
Finding these books and understanding the cause of my issues and getting on SSRIs saved my life. My issues got bad.
Reach out I;m happy to help
DeepSea, I have removed the links on where to purchase the books you have mentioned. I see that you are new to Healing Well & I urge to read the forum rules. Advertising or promoting a website to purchase items from is against the forum rules & considered spam. Thanks.
