dr actually apologized to me!!

so for a very long time ive been told my shoulder pain and dislocations just made no sense. i have even been accused of dislocating on purpose, and have been told terrible things and treated badly. Even the week before my 3rd surgery the dr was hesitant, and said i will find no other dr to touch me.

At my post op the other day, he said, " I owe you an apology for some of the things I've said and on behalf of other ortho's the way you've been treated. Once he got a look INSIDE of my shoulder he saw things no xray or MRI shows. Things that gave possible explanation to the answers we've been seeking answers to.
Apparently surgeon #2 just screwed things up. in years and years of practice he has never seen such things as he saw on that tiny camera inside my shoulder.
there is no way i can explain on here, as the dr himself could hardly explain, but it felt good to hear an I am sorry.
Now if only i could take these results and pictures to all of the *%&*&"s of dr's who have treated me like an insane drug seeker, and show them i was indeed suffering, and there is reason for it....

oh well, i can only go forward.

That must have felt good after the way you've been treated.Just hope he fixed it.

While you're under their care you should be treated fair.

I had a PMD tell me there was nothing wrong with my knee.I couldn't pick my foot up behind me.

All I wanted was a referral to an Ortho.No additional meds.

When I came back in a month I had had surgery and was wearing a walking cast.

Sent pictures of my newborn babies to ob/gyn who, after surgery, told me I could never had children.
