cant get any pain meds for debilitating chronic pain

Im suffering from this 24/7 chronic pain for 6 months after this surgeon messed up my kidney surgery. All the doctors i have been to, none is willing to give me opiate meds which is all that is working for me. Out of desperation Ive had to go ER, walk ins, but they just label me drug seeker, some will say they believe my story( story? like im making it up) but they still wont give anything.I have to make 5-6 trips before I get something, but even that for my pain lasts 2 days.
I was thinking methadone clinic as last resort but I just called to make an appointment, and was told even that is only for addicts and not chronic pain patients. Im from Toronto, Canada, it is impossible to find family doctor who will give even tylenol 3 here. Pain specialists Ive been to only give me injections, nerve blocks, which didnt work for me and on my last visit he punctured my lung!
Please somebody tell me how can I deal with this problem? Im awake for last 30 hours, I cant even sleep without any pain relief and I got nothing for pain anymore and nobody will give me. Is there any other way to get these medications? My problem is i have very tender sore painful abdomen almost like i got a wound inside but nothing definite is showing on ct or othrr tests. What can I do in this situation? Please help I honestly just want to kill myself at this point becsuse of this pain

Wow I was kinda hoping you were better since we haven't heard from you in a bit. I'm really sorry your still nowhere with this and now nothing about Canada's medical services. I can tell you honestly before I would get to the point of where your thinking is taking you I would call that clinic back and not tell them I was coming in for pain. Now I'm sure I'm about to take alot of flack for that statement but I have seen pain up close and personal of the Dr Kevorkian type and I'm not going to lie here by saying I wouldn't try everything else first my friend.

Getting relief is a priority in it's highest form and sleep deprivation ontop of it all makes fighting another day to get the proper medical treatment you need seems too much.

All you have to say to those folks at the clinic are yes you were on prescription narcotic and now your not. Your sick either way.

I wish I had something better to offer but short of moving to the states in hopes of finding a Dr here that will help you I just don't know.

Toronto has a few pain clinics. My father saw a doctor at Sunnybrook for years. Google "pain clinic and toronto" or "pain management and toronto" Rothbart and Mt. Sinai's clinic are a few others I've heard of.

Also, I thought Tylenol 3s are OTC in Canada. They used to be when I lived there.

I don't know how things work in Canada, so this poses interesting food for thought. I'm sorry that you're suffering through this.

My PCP would only cover pain management to a certain point and then it was a referral to a pain management clinic. I also have someone I see specifically for psych meds. So yeah, it means more trips to different docs and all, but I think in the big picture, every practitioner feels better that "someone else" is handling an area of expertise unique to them....

Thats terrible when PM clinics think that you are drug seeking and leave you out in the cold with no pain relief. I know that Canada have different laws from the U.S. Hope that you find relief soon.
