If I were a "normal" person, I'd go to the ER, get some injections and feel normal for a few hours.
I used to do that before I went in to PM. Most of the time they'd give me a script, too, even though I didn't specifically ask for one. At that point I was using almost double what my doc had RX'ed - it was 2 4mg dilaudid per day, which clearly wasn't enough, and I'd just struggle through the days I'd be out of it.
Which is so contrary to REAL PM and if there's any time I should be able to get an injection in the ER (I don't even care if it's Toradol, that works awesome for me, and works for a long time), it would be now.
But even though I could swing it time wise, and I should, I'd get through the day just fine, I'm not going to do it. I don't feel like being treated like crap today.
