Is there a way I can express to the therapists that I want to go slow?

Well, I have two things to say, LOL.
First, PT hurts. No two ways about
it.
Second, a good therapist knows how to get you to the point right BEFORE it starts to hurt, at first. Then, the pain comes, but, gradually.
That probably wasn't what you wanted to hear but, in my experience that's how it works. And, you should always be
open about
your concerns. If a person gets upset by that, then they're probably not the person to work with.

I guess I've had nothing but good physical therapy experiences. But just explain exactly like u just did and I'm sure they will listen. You will be in pain after, but I just think you work stuff u haven't worked in a while. Over time u hurt less, and hopefully heal or u could hurt worse and have to need surgery???
I'm in physical therapy now, just had hip surgery 2 wks ago and slowly but surely I'm working to heal. Hydrotherapy is going to be nice I think. Good luck to u
