I have GOOD news...
saw the ortho and he decided that it is TOS but as this isn't his "area" he is sending me to one. Translated as: You are messed up and I cant do anything with your weird zebra self.
Unfortunately he does not know how to play nice with dept labor paperwork so the referral was rejected. BUUUTTTT, I did some researching and found out that I can self refer to this new dr and they accept my insurance. I was advised to let the appeal go through first before using my ace up the sleeve. There are too many subs working on files they don't know due to the holiday.
The ortho warned that the rotator cuff issue (its suddenly back????) will not be dealt with for a while, nor would the wrist damage due to the TOS taking priority. I didn't even ask how the rtc issue had reappeared.
Now that they finally have a clue: translated to I am not a drug seeker or malingering, I brought up the pain and not sleeping issues. he did acknowledge that "it must be quite painful"...you think, geesh I hadn't noticed?????
He rx'd a stout med that my insurance immediately rejected. He is sending a replacement that I should have in a few days. Ironically the sleeping med did not work...at all, not even at double the dose! Obviously temazepam is a sugar pill to zebras. Oh well.
All in all a good situation with hope finally. Someone turned the light back on and I can see the tunnel!!! I have researched tos and understand, I think, what their definition of fixed is. I will take anything at this point. Just wanted to send some happy news and hope that you have a great day.
