I had two cysts on my eye. One was really big, right in the corner of my left eye, so much so that every little kid I talk to asks "what's that on your eye" and it began to be the first thing one noticed when looking at my face. A smaller one had started to grow on the bottom of my eyelid, too.
I went to the office, saw the nurse, then saw the doctor who talked to me for 10 minutes, examined me, said "it's a benign cyst, it's called a [some latin name I don't remember]. If you wait a half hour, I'll take it off for you right now."
I waited 15 minutes, sat down in a chair, he numbed it, cut it off, told me what to do to take care of the incision, and I left.
Wooo-hoo! First time ever I think I've walked in, gotten answers and treatment, and walked out. I know that a lot of people wouldn't think that was a big deal, but I know you all will understand.
I'm elated!!!! (And the cyst was REALLY ugly, so I'm glad it's gone.)
