Please help does nucynta and tramadol show up the same in drug test?

I have lupus (SLE),fibromyalgia and 3 other auto immune diseases.I live in a lot of pain.I have to change my pain clinic appointment many times because of being on bed rest due to the lupus attacking my heart,lungs and kidneys.I ran out of my nucynta because of having to change appointment.I was in so much pain that I have taken some tramadol this week including today.Does nucynta and tramadol show up the same in drug test?There is a chance they will test me since I have had to reschedule my appointment.

It probably depends on the test.At the pain management I was at last year it did.

The 1st Urine Test I took there they told me I had Ultram in my system.I had taken Nucynta.

NO, A drug test shows them as 2 very different drugs, I have been on Nucynta for about 13 years (maybe longer, My Doc put me on it a long time ago) and my wife takes Tramadol for arthritis in her hands. I am a disabled Firefighter that was hurt on a call and have chronic pain and take Fentanyl, Morphine and Nucynta due to the severe pain I'm in (back injury that can't be operated on) 24/7. I asked my wife a long time ago to keep my meds locked up so I don't just go thru them fast (you know how easy it is to just start popping pills when your hurting because you want relief). Well, One day she mixed up my morphine with her Tramadol since the brands we take looks pretty much identical. When I saw my Doc at my monthly appointment he had me pee in a cup (My Doc does that at every appointment to any patients he has on narcotics to make sure they are actually taking their meds and not selling them) and after he looked at the results of the test, he asked me why I took Tramadol that month. I explained it to him and he was fine with it as long as it didn't keep happening. But since I'm on Nucynta, it shows that Tramadol and Nucynta show as 2 different drugs and that was just a urine test in a cup that he could tell by the end of my appointment. So, no, they show up as 2 different meds (sorry).
