g'day everyone. thought i would post to get to know you guys more. i live in australia, the weather is lovely today. i pushed myself to go to the chemist and pick up some meds. i have been up all night again. i have this subluaxation thing in my shoulders. i am riddled with arthritis in my nexk also. just toss and turn. i am very depressed at the moment, not relevant, insomnia is biting though. i use a c-pap-i was dx with very severe obstructive sleep apnea. and rem hyperventilation-can't get my head around that. rapid eye movement stuff. for my pain i had been using panadol osteo-useless. i use voltaren gel and a spray that is made up with some good stuff. i have had a lot of surgeries but no with bones or muscles. eye, bladder, heart, things like this. i am a diabetic, need to loose weight. my vision sux at times, so if i make mistakes bare with me. (diabetic retinapathy)

had some stuff go on with the family. i gave the family another scare a few weeks ago as i had to be reintubated in recovery, mum has been in psychiatric care, is with us now and my little girl (buttons) furball-dog passed away as well. stroke. well, that is me, tired and sore, but aren't we all. have a nice day.

Hello, it's nice to know you a bit better. Thanks for the intro. Glad you are among us. Enjoy that weather!
I find insomnia and the c-pap a sorry mixture, thinking I COULD sleep if not for that mask sometimes.

I look forward to seeing that you have posted here and in the other forum. Just knowing that I am not the only one that visits daily, that I am not the only one that needs support, is uplifting to me. I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, but glad that they don't keep you from reaching out to others.

I'm sorry to hear about the way things are going. We spent a lot of time working through issues with our pain and discomfort. It's sad when you lose a loving companion like that. I agree with Pitmom, it is really nice to login here and realize we aren't alone.

I've had CRPS for about five years after hit in to have an ankle rebuilt. Long story, I managed to follow my first day of walking with falling on the set of ceramic tile and crushing L2 and L5. In the past couple of years, I've been realizing that my symptoms didn't all need CRPS. I was diagnosed with Fibro At the end of last year. I thought I had my CRPS under control, but when I started spending so much time dealing with the fibromyalgia it reared it's ugly head and started acting up again.

I'm so glad I found these forums. Sometimes I just read a lot of what's going on here, but it makes a huge difference.

I hope things pick up for you soon.

I enjoyed learning about you but at the same time I am sorry to hear of all your dealing with.
I too lost my bestest fur friend this past June to cancer. In one month's time he went from being so full of life to being diagnosed with bone cancer, surgery attempt to remove a tumor and us having to make the hardest decision to end his suffering. Still can't talk much about it, tears just flow. I can relate to what your going through.
I am glad that you found this site because there are so many caring and compassionate people to talk to, it is truly a blessing.
Hope the rest of your week is filled with less pain and more pleasure!

Maybe it's time to try another mask for your cpap...ask your doctor if that would help. Sure hope things get better for you and your family you have my prayers and well wishes...

Nice to know you a bit better...and like I said in the other topic I never realised you were another Aussie. Where are you from? (I'm a Yarra Valley girl...lots of good wines made round here, just a shame I don't drink em!) (would like to know where you're finding lovely weather too! Was nice here by this evening, but too hot for me during the day... and of course the poor guys across qld and the top end copping the cyclones...)

Sorry for all you're dealing with with your mum and losing your wee dog...I rely on my parents for a lot - but I think my sanity would be well and truly out the window without my furkiddoes. They've seen me through the worst patches of my CRPS and depression alike - nothing beats snuggling up to the pooch when you don't want to deal with the rest of the world (or puss...I've got my choice...even had one of the neighbour's chooks taken a shine to us and started coming in for the odd chat lately - very funny to watch her beak to nose with my dogs & cat through the lounge window...would love to know what goes through their minds.)

animals, got to love em!! don't want to say the state or city and stuff, but you will know when i say 'barwon region'. my fiance, who lives in the uk, loves wine. she buys wines from your region. thx for saying g'day. yeah i hope the cyclones calm. yepoon was meant to cop it, haven't seen the news. anhem land hit. will check news today.
