My daughter's birthday will be Sunday but she'll be working a 12 hour shift, so I took her out for her birthday dinner at Red Lobster last night. Her son only likes the biscuits and was having fun with a friend so, it was just the two of us. One of my oldest, dearest friends used to take me to RL when I was pregnant with her. In turn, one of her dearest friends used to take her there when she was pregnant with her son! So many memories! Lovely time! She will be 33 in just a few days! Where has the time gone?!
I am, perhaps, a bit more nostalgic this year as we just went through all of the pictures of her, creating a photographic timeline to help the endocrinologists figure out just how long she has had Cushing's Disease. Seems as though, all her life, she went from slim to 'chubby', back to slim, back to 'chubby'. We can even 'pinpoint' the stressors at the times she was rounder!
We'll be taking all of the pictures with us for the appointment on June 5th. My own stress about it is showing up in excema flare ups. The least of my worries!
Cleaned the fountain, it's running really well now. Bought a solar powered rope light and wound it around the lightpost and then along the path. Now, the garden looks interesting at night too! We are both enjoying all of the delights outdoors!
