Awesome that you found the connection! We as humans so trustingly take whatever or do whatever Drs tell us to do without knowing everything we can about the meds being prescribed and the procedures being done. How many of us read those annoying bunch of papers the pharm staples to our bags? I'm as guilty as anyone for trashing them but have gotten some better the longer I stay in the game.
It's important to know side effects common and not so much, interactions with other meds and food, the odds of successful procedures,be familiar with the procedure and how its done and what's involved. Knowledge is power. It could save your life or at the least a bad experience.
Good luck on your upcoming surgery and hoping for a good outcome.
