Same thing happened to me when I was on cymbalta 7 or 8 yrs ago. It was a contributing factor as to why I stopped taking it, but not the only reason. Also had the same thing happen from other antidepressants, too. Pristiq was the worst for me. Although, unfortunately, it also helped my depression the most/was one of the few antidepressants that I actually could take because of my liver issues, so I had to deal with vivid nightmares every night for several years before I was finally taken off it this spring. It was miserable.
I'd give it a week or two. Might be related to the dose increase & will go away once your body gets used to it. Or like with me, it might not go away. Hard to know. For your sake, I hope it goes away. Dealing with nightmares every night is NOT fun -- especially when us CPer's tend to sleep so poorly/get so little restful sleep to begin with!!
