Uh Oh! I just now realized I missed my Pain appt. on Monday! They even called Friday to remind me! I put it on the calendar and everything! Ack! Ack! Ack!

Uh oh is right. All you can do is call & explain what happened. Hopefully they will understand & reschedule you as soon as they can. I did the very same thing last year. Had my call the day before reminding me. I guess the next morning I was in lala land because I completely forgot about it. I had not ever missed any appts in 2 years so it wasn't a problem.

I hope they don't make you wait until after the 1st. Take care.

I tried calling the office. When the answering machine or whatever picked up, it simply said "Please leave your message for......." Problem is, the number it quoted is not the number I dialed. I tried it again, same result. I will NOT leave a message about my health care on a forwarded number! Especially one that does not identify itself with my practitioner!

Once the weather has moderated, I will stop by the office in person to explain and comment on this practice of forwarded messaging.

Let the chips fall where they may.
