I had a medtronic pain stimulator implanted about a year ago. The battery was implanted in the right side, lower back. It is very painful.
The call center and reP told me to turn it off. Even with the battery turned off, it still very painful. Pain radiates around my but and down my leg. I also have to frequent pee.
I'm not able to see surgeon until the 20th. You can feel entire area where battery is including battery itself.
I was supposed to have it removed last month but I had to get gallbladder removed.
Is this an emergency?
Should I get this removed?
Anyone else having, this issue?
I'm a retired veteran who has severe chronic pain.
Thank you.
