Help reading MRI results, so I can ask better questions

Vertebrae: Postsurgical changes from ACDF at C4-5. There are multilevel degenerative changes as follows:

C2-C3: Mild neural foraminal narrowing left secondary to uncovertebral hypertrophy. No significant spinal canal stenosis.

C3-C4: Small broad-based central disk osteophyte complex which mildly narrows the anterior CSF. There is mild right neural foraminal narrowing secondary to uncovertebral hypertrophy.

C4-C5: Postsurgical changes from ACDF. The axial GRE sequence demonstrates narrowing of the left anterior CSF which may be secondary to metallic artifact from surgical hardware. No significant spinal canal stenosis is seen of the T2 sequences. There is mild bilateral foraminal narrowing.

C5-C6: Small broad-based central disk osteophyte complex without significant spinal canal or foraminal stenosis.

C6-C7: Small broad-based disk osteophyte complex acentric to the left which mildly narrows the left anterior CSF space. No significant neuroforaminal stenosis.

C7-T1: No significant spinal canal or foraminal stenosis.

Thoracic spine: Mild spondylitic change. Small central disk protrusion at T7-8 which mildly narrows the anterior CSF and deforms the anterior cord ( 801/11). No significant spinal canal stenosis.

Cord: Normal

Extravertebral soft tissues: Normal

Visualized posterior fossa: Normal

Visualized chest: Normal

Additional comment: None

IMPRESSION:

1. Postoperative findings from ACDF at C4-5.

2. Mild multilevel degenerative changes of the cervical spine, as detailed above.

3. Small disk protrusion at T7-8 which mildly narrows the ventral CSF.
