Hello anyone ever get really swollen ankles were you can hardly put any wieght on your feet? Have it right now I even feel like my wrists are swollen. What do you all do to get relief? I am currently taking Humira every week.

Hey there,

Is this new for you?  I would suggest that you call your physician if this is new as something else may be causing the edema (swelling).  It could  be a fluid overlaod.  I would not want to guess on this sx, so please check in with your physician.

Hey there....

My ankles swelled and have swelled when I get into a Flare.  I would check with your doctor to make sure that you don't have heart or kidney problems..

The only thing that helps with the swelling is watching what I eat...(AKA I go on the BRAT diet).. and I keep my feet up...that does help.

I have had issues with swelling for the last five years and at one point I had so much Edema that I had to go to the hospital every other day to have it drained off and there for a year I was in a wheel chair due to the Edma and the RA.So please know that you are not alone and if you want to talk please feel free to e-mail me.

Sorry I sll so ment to tell you that I am on two different fluid meds for my Edema and they are Laxis and Bumex.I take a low dose every day other wise I would blow up like a good year blimp.
