Medication Question- Nulev?

I just saw my GI and he prescribed Nulev for cramping and pain that I've been having. I've been talking Pentasa, as well. Is anyone familiar with it? Does it work? Just thought I'd ask, because I haven't seen it in any posts.

Nulev is another name for Levsin or Hycosamine. This medicine is good for the intestinal spasms/cramps we get. Much like Bentyl only a little stronger.

I take NuLev as needed.... it seemed to help alot in the beginning but it seems the more i take it the less it does....

my doc gave this to me before i was diagnosed with crohns. its basically a medicine for ibs that helps with spasms and cramps. i dont think it's very good.
