Methotrexate & Humira

Is anyone out there taking both Humira and Methotrexate ??

My GI wants me to try the Metho since I had allergic reaction to Imuran and 6MP.

The Humira alone really isn't doing much for me.......

You might want to ask this question on the arthritis thread too since those are commonly prescibed for RA.

Welcome,I am on both methotrexate and Humira,I take Humira shot once a week and I take methotrexate (shot)once a week as well and the two have helped me more so than any of my other crohn meds.I have crohns,ra,and os

I'm on mtx and Humira too, but I only started the Humira two weeks ago so can't tell you if the combination of meds is helping.

I am on both. Metho once a week and humira every other week. I definetaly that they are working together well.
