MRI's are supposed to show quite well and you aren't exposed to radiation, but, I guess barium is an important part and my daughter had no problem with it. We won't be getting our results till the 28th of March at her follow up appointment. She has been on Remicade and that was the only thing that helped her symptoms for about
6 months then the pain returned. We had all been under the assumption that she had a narrowing in her TI and as the symptoms came back with a vengeance the dr did a colonoscopy with the intentions of dilating the narrowing. When he got there he found nothing! SO.. we are at a loss, and she is in constant LRQ pain whether she eats or not. She is not eating more regularly since it seems to make no difference. I am hoping that SOMETHING will show up on the MRI to give us some kind of answers. For now the dr told her to stop Remicade and put her back on AZA, which to me is useless as it didn't help her the year she took it before.
You asked what zolparine is? I don't know, it isn't in my list of meds I take for my FM. What I think you are asking about
is Zopiclone, which is a sleep med. Flexeril is a muscle relaxant, and it does help somewhat, but makes me want to eat carbs
Oh, my daughter was injected with something to stop her bowels too. Made her feel sick for a couple of minutes but was fine after. We went on to do a bunch of shopping later.
