Now I know why I went off the Pentasa in the past. Does any one else have this problem? I was restarted on the Pentasa with Entocort just last week and now the constant nausea is back, I remember this from before. Any suggestions on what to do to help this. Thank So Much, Kay

I never have had any nausea with Pentasa and have tapered from 8 to 4 pills a day. I've read other's posts that it is just like any other drug; side-effects lessen with time. Good luck Kay!

I take 1/2 tab of promethazine, 25mg. for the nausea & motion sickness....seems to work wonders so far...just started, & as always need to be careful when trying new stuff...just riding in the car makes me sooooo sick, but it got much more severe with the pentasa, but that's just me, as always, everyone here is different, and has different reactions to different drugs/combos of drugs, foods, etc.

I've been on pentasa for a month now and budesonide for 4ish weeks and the nausea I'm having is more associated with being incredibly dizzy :-/ (the dizziness started about
2 weeks ago).
Try ginger/natural gravol? Ginger is good for nausea.

I don't have nausea too often but I do get dizzy. I didn't relate the dizzyness to the Pentasa, but who knows. If it really makes you naseous, maybe ask you doc to try something different.
