I,m having a TI resection there next week.

Anybody have any recent experience there and can you offer any tips?

Did you have a private room? Was it difficult to get and how much extra did it cost?

I've never been to Shadyside, but DH has years ago for parathyroid surgery. He had semi private room. Sorry I can't be of more help but hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery. Keep us updated.
