Oral Crohn's anyone?

Hi everyone,

I used to have Oral Crohn's until it spread into the normal kind. I had an ostomy and now it's come back in my mouth, with really sore dry patches at the corners of my mouth. I've tried steroids, numerous creams and potions, pills, and laser surgery.. has anyone out there found anything that has worked for them?

Mary, I have the same problem. I use Dr. Poppavich's solution for inside my mouth, but like you nothing seem to work on
corners. However I've been told that problem was more likely to be caused by my vit B12 deficiency.

Just a thought.....

Thanks for the advice, if its get bad inside I'll check that out. I've been tested for B12 and the levels are normal, is just an anomaly. Though I just heard about this stuff called Bio Oil which I might check out.. anyone heard of that?

Probiotics daily and indefinitely have cleared up my mouth sores and kept them at bay.

Havn't had a single one since I started taking probiotics daily.

I haven't had them since I went off Methotrexate and Doxcycline

I have been told by a cancer survior that you swish around malox in your mouth it will help with the sores, kinda like swish and swallow
