Multiple Conditions

Besides crohns, I also have eczema, but thankfully it's in remission, wish I could get the crohns there but it hasn't ever happend to date so I'm not holding my breath...it's quite common to have more than one autoimmune disease more so then to only have one.

I had extreamly severe eczema as a child...it wasn't until my early 20's that I became sick with crohns.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 12 years ago. I also have an hypothyroidism, COPD, vericose veins and anxiety.

I have had crohn's for 40 yrs, also mild psoriasis which was almost non-existant until starting remicade and now humira. B12 deficiency with concentration/memory and neuro deficits which fluctuate with my levels, I am low again and think the humira is the culprit. Osteoporosis, osteo and psoratic arthritis, hypothyroid and GERD. Recently had stents in my common bile duct removed. Never did know what caused the srictures, but I bet it was the crohn's. Doc thought I had gastroparesis but just got results from gastric emptying and it was normal. One neurologist tried to pin fibromyalgia on me, and I said no way, my muscles don't ever hurt. Don't have time/mindset to see another doc, so I won't admit to depression. Besides not wanting to take another medicine.
