Blood sugar monitoring and Entocort

While on Entocort, should blood glucose levels be monitored in a non diabetic patient? I know that during prednisone therapy this is important, but what about Entocort?

Hi Jellybean 1887, I don't have any help in this, but wished someone would have something to post. Have you looked up the drug at the manufactures sight? Might help. Hope you are feeling well!

From what I've read, it should only cause problems if you're on it long term and at a higher dose (say 9mg). If you're having blood sugar issues though you should probably ask your doctor about it.

I'm on Entocort (6mg for the time being) and my doctor hasn't mentioned it but I don't think he believes in side effects
