This was my first semester back to college since I was finally diagnosed. I still had to have one surgery half-way through the semester to remove an abscess and I still made all A's and have a 4.0 GPA!!! Woohoo! I finally feel like I can do this!

sweet. no matter your major in college, or what college you go to, that is quite an accomplishment. i was diagnosed my right before my senior year in high school and stuff really hit the fan for me in college so i say this from experience. college was that much harder with this disease. i was doing 10 week quarters in 6-8 weeks. i added up all the sick days from my first 5 years of college (i did a total of 7 cos i got a MS as well) and i estimate i missed a school years worth of time, so even though i was enrolled for 5 years, i attended 4. so yeah, i have a lot of empathy for any one in school having any kind of disease. so congrats. it is a good accomplishment. hopefully you can parlay it into the rest of your time in school.

:(... I had to medically withdraw from my online class (because of the nature of the class, the teacher wouldn't let me make-up the test I missed when I was in the hospital... and I wouldn't have had time to study for my final)... And I ended up with a C in Precalculus... (But I think that's pretty good, actually... Maybe I could've done better if I had been feeling better... but... I'm glad I passed...)
Congratulations on the 4.0, though... :)... Hope I can manage that next semester... *I did manage it for the fall semester... but I was feeling a lot better, then...*
