Things are still happening to me for the first time since all this stated in January.
Yesterday, most of the pain in my knees and elbows just went away. Stomach pain too. My temp dropped from 99.5 to 97.4 and weirdly my period just stopped, when it shouldnt have done. I can run up stairs, and I ate solid food, not soup, for the first time in months.
I dont know why it happened or if it will last, but I like it.

wanna send some of that good health my way? I always keep a little pred or entocort around the house... unfortunately last night I had to restart the steroids... (I'll let my doc know tomorrow... )
I hope your good spell lasts a very long time. I've had a few of those long runs of good health ... they're awesome... and like you you almost feel as if something is wrong and that you shouldn't feel *that* good.
take it easy!

Well, the good spell lasted 5 days. The stiffness is back in my knees and elbow etc. It was a very short let up, but I forgot what it felt like to be "normal". My whole mood and demeanour changed and lifted. Its gone now but maybe it will come back.

That's how I felt just recently on my 10 day pred trial. I couldn't believe how great a normal gut feels, didn't give digestion a second thought. It didn't last once I got off but now I know what is possible. I'm back on 10mg a day and not quite as good, but ok. Friday I start MTX (I think)
I hope you get to experience feeling good again soon

I am new to this too. Post your question on the main crohn's forum for someone with more knowledge than I have. It is miserable trying to work it all out.
Good luck

Yes, it is normal to have abdominal pain with crohns. Most of us take some sort of pain killers.
