If you switched from Remicade to Humira, how long...

Did it take for you to feel results from the Humira?

I'm going to take my Humira "loading" doses tomorrow for the first time. Been on Remicade 6 & 1/2 years and it's not working like it used to. I used to be a new person within 24 hours of the infusion. Now... everything is still kind of crappy. I'm hoping to be one of the few who gets relief from Humira. So, if you switched, did you see immediate results? Or did it take a while?

It took a while for me. I had a gap of about a year and a half between the two medications. It took about three months for me to get good results. Now i am basically normal without symptoms at all! Humira has been wonderful for me. Much, much better and easier than Remicade. Just be patient with it. I hope you will be one of the many who get good results.

I also took Remicade before I started the Humira. It took about 4 months for me to see a decrease in symptoms. I still have D, and some tenderness, but the pain is not there.

It only took me about 2 weeks to see a difference after my loading dose, but I responded just as quickly to Remicade for whatever reason.

There was a 4 month break between the two drugs for me.
