Does anyone have a GI dr in the Boston/MA area who is just fantastic and great? I need to get better. I need a new doctor.

I KNOW there are lots of people here from New England, someone has got to to be bursting at the seams to brag about
their fabulous doctor. :)

check out this website for the Chron's and Colitis Center in Boston, I will be going for a 2nd opinion there, not sure who I will see next. My friend's Dad goes there has UC and got on a Humira trial (not FDA approved for us UC'ers yet) and is doing really well.

I have the same doctor as Chris B, Korzenik. I recommend him highly. I've spoken of him recently here: https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=38&m=1156058&g=1156083#m1156083 Mary

I see several doctors in the Boston area. One at BI, Dr Cheifetz, he's very good, but hard to get in to see. I also have a friend who sees him and thinks he is very good. I see a more local doctor, Dr Fefferman, in Stoneham MA. I think he is Fabulous. Both doctors trained together so they have no problem talking and consulting about
treatment plans. I think this gives me the best of both worlds. I have access to all the high tech stuff at a major medical hospital and the head of GI, but when I need to see my GI, like right NOW, I can get an appointment ASAP and not have to wait months.

Does Korzenik answer emails? I sent him one a few weeks back and never got a response.

I've only emailed him once and it was at his request. He responded within an hour. I have no experience with emailing him or anyone in his office other than that. Mary

I go to Dr. Sonia Friedman at Brigham & Women's Hospital. She is great, responds quickly, smart, her main interest is Crohn's, she is amazing.
