I have been on Humira since January. My white blood count has dropped to 3.8 -3.5 so my dr is concerned. He is going to try and have me take a shot with only 20 mg every 2 wks (40 is the normal dose). If the wbc is still low we're going to try a shot just once a month. I have never seen this dose used before. Has anyone used a lower dose? Also has anyone experienced a low white blood count with humira and if so what did you do about
it?? HELP.

If no one here has experienced it, I would say contact Abbott, the makers of humira. They should be able to send you information.

Immunosuppression causes your white count to go down. While this is needed in Crohn's patients, your doctor thinks yours has dropped too far. 20 mg of humira is a kids dose, and sounds like a reasonable next step.
