So the nurse called today. The doc doesn't have the full typed up final report done, but they did have the basic results back.
No cancer...which I didn't really think I had anyway. But still obviously really good news.
So far from what she can tell they didn't find anything with my colonoscopy. not so good news. now she has to wait for the doc to figure out what to do with me next. my severe bleeding stopped before the stupid colonoscopy...I had to wait a whole month before I could even have the test so like I said in another thread my doc figures my intestines had already healed. also I forgot to mention this a while back, but the stool sample they made me do weeks ago showed nothing either. so the nurse thinks these are the options I'm going to be given on Monday.
1. wait until the bleeding starts up again, since it is a recurring problem, and try another colonoscopy ASAP. fun, fun!
2. try the endoscope next. see if the bleeding was maybe further than they could see with the colonoscopy and see if there's something there that could be making me live in my bathroom.
So those are the main options she's pretty sure the doc's going to suggest. Like I've been told before though they probably won't give me anything for my symptoms since they don't know what's wrong with me. So I suffer until something else comes up I guess. They would just call it IBS, but as most of us know the severe recurring bleeding I was having doesn't usually go along with the IBS. Who knows though. Looks like this isn't going to be an easy thing to figure out. *sigh*
