How many of you made the switch from Remicade to Humira?

I have been on Remicade for a little over two years, and it has helped me tremendously.  However, my GI feels I am building up antibodies, because I'm not doing very well.  How many of you made the switch to Humira, and has it helped you more than the Remicade?  I am awaiting approval from Humira reimbursement because it is so expensive.  Thank you in advance for your time.

I switched and the humira didn't help me. i'm back on remicade it's not helping now either :(

I switched and have had pretty much the same results.

I switched after 6 &1/2 years on remicade, it's holding me pretty well, but not quite as well as I'd like it too. Still, I can't complain, it's WAY better than being sick.

I switched and didnt really see much improvement. switched to some other drug now, doesnt have a proper name yet.

I went from Remicade to Cimzia to Humira.  All put/kept my gut in remission, but none has helped enough with the arthritis.  Cimzia and Humira have helped equally and more than the Remicade did.  The convenience of Humira compared to Remicade is significant.

Thank you, Zena. Yes, the Humira would be much more convenient than sitting in an infusion clinic every 4th Friday......

I actually prefer the infusions. Giving myself injections creeps me out to no end.

It really not that bad ...the Humira injections...you can choose between a syringe (that would be the creeps) or the pen. I use the pen. The needle is hidden, you get a pratice pen to play with before you actually do the real injection. Its rather very easy and takes a couple of sec. or less to do.

 Bane,  I also prefer infusions.  It gives me a forced day off of work and I enjoy my nurse and the other girl I do it with.  

I'm trying to conceive though and my doctor wants me to stop remicade for 3rd trimester, but this would be the 3rd time i've stopped remicade for about 4 months (last two times was due to insurance).   I'm afraid that it wont work after this, so i'm also interested in everyone's responses on this issue.

I switched and it made a huge difference to me. Humira is much more effective and much easier to take.
