I think with CD we always have to start with the premise that everyone is affected differently...so just because you can't run without a problem certainly doesn't mean the same is true for others....and the opposite is true...just because someone can run without issues doesn't mean you or others can...
I think I said that right...
i was never much of a runner, just a fast pace on the treadmill before doing my weights...I also did a lot of kick boxing ....once the CD kicked in I had to give up all of it....I didn't have the energy for the weights...and the kick boxing, fast treadmill walking, and stationary biking caused me some major issues.
one real and not so humorous issue (I know some will smile at this) was when I would bench or curl some heavy weights...the strain on my body, especially my lower abdomen would/could result in an immediate need to find a toilet...my biggest fear was that I would just let loose with a load of weights over my head.
it has never been a problem dealing with the pain and mess of this disease...but the things we have to give up can at times prove to be too much.
