Some of us are off meds for awhile

You know, it's really hard to know what to do sometimes. These medications they have for us, scare the crap out of me! The side effects can be worse then the disease itself. So I don't blame anyone for wanting to try to go med free. I think sometimes it can work out, especially in cases of very mild disease.

I really think we are darned if we do, darned if we don't though.

Um, from what I've seen and felt. I feel worse after the diagnosis and subsequent medications: pentasa. I started losing hair and figured a good time to take allergy stuff and a prenatal vitamin (and no children are on the agenda) to see if I'd STOP losing hair. It seems to have stopped falling out. Still, there's NOTHING different with stopping the meds I think. Still, in my personal case, besides being afraid, with the way the disease is behaving, it'd be another few months before I feel awful again, with the need from irritatingly uncomfortable procedures and resulting surgeries driving me bonkers.
