Really Really bad few days

Hi Guy's,

I hope you don't mind me having a bit of a moan. These past fews days have been really really bad. I have been bleedings with every DM and sometimes only passing blood with my BM. My stomach has been in so much pain, I have found a tear in my eyes (I know, not very big for a man). My whole body hurts, hips and ankles feel like they are 90 years old and to top it all of I have a mad rash.

Isn't life so much fun at times?

Anyone else out there have days like this?

Hi See your not having a very good day. If it were me I'd be at emerg. Hope you get feeling better soon and keep in touch.Some days have been harder then others that's for sure. Doesn't matter if your a man or woman if it hurts it hurt's and rant all you want . lol gail

many thanks. It has been a hard few days alright, a little better today but not to much. I called the A&E and they advised hat there was no use my coming down as there was nothing they could do but increase the pain meds, as I am supposed to have a scopoy in Novemeber. Fine help! I went to the Family Doctor, and guess what? He was not open. EXCELLENT!

I am so fedup with this now it is not ven funny.

Being toldnot to go to the A&E was the final straw.

Hi Conorconan1 I am so sorry you are suffering so. Any way to get in to see any other doc? I really think you need to get some treatment before things get out of control. And you know with this DD that can happen pretty quick. Sure hope you get some help and relief soon.

Hi Nanners,

NOPE! I would have to register with another doc and need the Medical card which is currently with my GI doctor. As it is on the NHS (Please do not ever get a national health service in your country), I have to put up and shut up! I am pretty scared right now, but when no one is willing to help, what can ya do?

Hi Glad your at least a little better. Do you have someone that can run down and get your card tomorrow? I don't have the bleeding thing but perhaps others here have some help they can offer till you can get to a Dr. Are you passing much blood? lol gail

Yeah a fair amount of Blood. I am going to the A&E now, I cannot deal with this anymore whilst I am like this. Wish me luck

Even with our non-socialized medicine we run into trouble getting into see doctors in here frequently. Good luck getting one to call you back. If you try to see another doc as a new patient it can be a 3 month wait. I think the whole world needs to revamp their health care. I hope you find some relief soon. Could you take benadryl for the rash?

All the best to you. If they don't help you, I suggest a liquid diet for a few days. Let the bowel rest a bit.

Hi Guys,

just back from A&E, bllod test show normal, which can only be good news. They have given me some extra strength Pain killers and the dumb doctor tried given me an IBS med. I am hoping that they will get me in before Saturday as they suggested if an appoitment comes up, they will get the GI to see me.

Thanks for the advise guys, I think I will try the liquid diet from tommorow on.

loobylou, sorry to hear that. I have never had an adnormal blood test that could realate to chrons. I have had adm=normal results on the LFT and on the thyrod but never on the tests relating to chrons.

I hope all works out for you and you start feeling better sooner reather than later.

IBS meds do help us crohnies sometimes. I take hyosciamine and others take dicycolomine and both help w/ gut pain and spasms....whatever their cause.

thanks for that FitzyK23, I will give them a bash and see what they do. I was on some IBS drugs but my doc took me of them advising they where useless.

Just for posterities sake, my blood reads no inflammation too. I have 2 strictures. I go to the dr and tell him I'm flaring, he tells me I'm not. He finally did a sbft and had to eat a nice plate of crow! The inflammation is deep (whatever that means), and won't read in the SED rate. So, for all his denial, I am having both strictures removed on Nov. 4th! Blood can be unreliable at best.

I hope you get some answers and treatment.

Ji just checking in to see how you are doing. Hope things have improved some and at least your blood hasn't dropped .That is good your maintaining your count. lol gail
