I just stumbled upon this sight by accident and boy is it nice to hear that other people have the same things going on as me(too bad anyone has these issues at all tho) I have often felt that some of the things I have been through are unique and I have sort of been given the short end of the stick, so to speak.I have been reading over things that people have posted and so much has shed light for me and have gotten a lot of good advice. Thanks to everyone. I also like the fact that I can vent a little and have such wonderful support. I often don't talk about what is going on because my husband worries so much and I hate to do that to him.
I am a mother of three very active boys and did not think I had time to get sick. I put off the D, and bloody stools for months until Christmas Eve two years ago when I could not stop throwing up. I was hospitalized on Christmas Day with C-Diff and did not come home again until April,only to go back in two months to get all but 5 inches of my colon removed, which then came apart, which led to Emergency surgery and an ileostomy and another 5 week hospital stay. I had the reversal in March but I have never really bounced back from all that, on the outside I look almost like my old self, but my guts tell another story. Just had a scope and found that I have active C-Diff again - ugh!! (awfully sick and depressed about that. So after reading many different stories I am happy to see that I am NORMAL and I wanted to say a BIG
