Ever sense they told me I have crohn's . Been having some problems and I don't know what say to the doctor about it. I told them before that been having gall stones come out then they said well if it becomes a problem do something about it. Now keep getting them all the time with some blood and one day I woke up around Christmas both of ribs hurt so bad felt like someone broke them and little ways down from them to hurt like hell. I don't know what going on because also been experiencing this stuff with my muscles and joints. Where all the sudden the muscle and joint get so tight and joint that I can't move when it happens and get worse pain then after it goes away sometimes still so sore afterwards and I don't know what be causing this. Also down there on my vagina . I have notices that all red and feel swollen and itch's like crazy and every now and then get these bumps they come and go and also sometimes hurt like hell and burn . I dont know what to do. Or how explain this to a doctor because they come and go so if they don't see them might not know what to do.Also been getting worse mirance headachs . Does crohn's cause them? I know I have so many questions am new this whole crohn thing so if anyone help me sure appeariate it

I have muscle and joint problems too .... I get charlie horse all the time and sometimes my fingers swell up and hurt real bad ... they feel like they are broken. I also have the the problem you have down there red and swollen and itch's like crazy ... plus the bumps they hurt so bad sometimes I want to go crazy lol but yeah they come and go and the drs cant get you in when you have them so how can you show them what is going on ???? I have a dr apt on monday and I'm goin to talk to him about it. I dont get the mirance so much any more but i did when i was first dx with cd. I think cd can cause any thing from the mirances to the muscle and joint pain to rashes. I have been told that you can have sores from your mouth to your anus. I have alway had the sores in my nose but the sore around my anus area is a new thing to me ... maybe we can keep each other up to date on what drs say about that ....

I would love to know what your Dr's say - for years I have gotten sores down around my vagina and have never said anything - put to call them painful is an understatement!!! I had the open ulcers in mouth back in 1989 and have been told that it was because of Crohn's (wasn't diagnosed wtih Crohn's at the time but GI mentioned it right away when looking at my medical records) - that is what the sore looks like around my vagina - can't wait to hear what your Dr's say - I am going to ask my GYN next week when I go to see her.

I'd be interested to know as well. I don't get sores, but it does get dry and painful so that even showering bothers me. And of course it's extremely painful after intercourse...could dehydration have anything to do with some of it do you think? All I know is that I miss being able to be with my fiance, and I'm tired of it being so uncomfortable sometimes!
Keep us updated. I hope you find something to help ease that irritation...not fun.

My doctor said that crohn's cause it be very painful when have intercourse even more when going through flares. He said make sure take it easy when doing that and to use KY see if it helps if having dryness.

I had my dr appt today .... of course i dont have the sores any more so he couldnt look at them but he did say he thinks it is form cd. he gave me a rx for it if it comes back some kind of cream. he said nex time they come back call him and he'll try to get me in ......
