Many thankls as always. It has been one hell of a month alright. So out of the blue. Still trying to figure out what went on. I hope to be out tommorow. I am very slowly getting about. What used to take a minute is now taking ten. Not much fun, but hey, you guys have been through a lot worse than me. I hope when I get home my services are still on, credit crunch is hitting hard. LOL... Thank god the NHS is free :.) ! I hope that you guys are all well and I will hopefully speak to you tommorow. The wee nurse her is telling me to get a move on, she is needed back in the ward. LOL..

I was wondering how you were going. Im with Gachrons, i'd like to hear how you ended up in hospital too. Hope you get out tomorrow, sorry you had to be in there in the first place.

really soory I have not been on I have been so darn weak as of late it is not funny. I ended up in hospital due to doctors screwing up. They had told me that things where looking good and i should fall into remission whilst on the pred. However, It turns out that the lazy B (sorry for the swearing), did not get right down into the whole gut and forgot to look into my left right side by the small bowel, even though he had advised he did and it was clerar. Go figure! As it was on the NHS, I do not have the heart top sue as the money is needed in treatment of other patients. Anyway, it turns out that my whole right sdide colon was done in, scarring and ulcers all over the shop. I had a massive bleed and needed to have a blood transfusion carried out. That bit was crazy, I just couldn't stop bleeding. My arse was like a fire bridage pipe (lol).... I clasped and was rushed into hospital. Didn't help me much that I had just had surgery on my leg, I couldn't get to the toilet to get myself clean before the ambulance came. LOL... If you don't laugh you'll cry!!! At this point the GI doc then made the decision to remove the diseased part of the colon. Whilst doing that, I pick up the C-diff infection. That just made me mad beyond any reason. I wanted to slap that silly little mans head from his shoulders at that stage, if he had done his job rigjht to start and not given me false info, I would not be in the mess that I am ion. Well, I have an appointment to see the GI in April and they will check into my healing and make a decision regarding the bag from there. I have gotten used to the bag and it is really not that bad of a thing. No rushing to the bathroom for a while! Yessssssssssssssssssssss!!! lol... Thatnks for the concerns guys, I really am greatful. The moral of the story is simple do not trust any doc uinless you see it with your own eyes. I have since recieved a written letter of apolpogy from the Hospital (theres another miracle, thats as good as an admission of liability on their part), which I have accpeted. Aren't we such nice people on here?

Hi gachrons,

I have given my the name of the scooper - the best darned time of my life! LOL... I thought that it was brave of them to come clean as easily and quickly as they did, made me feel so much better about it. I am off out today for my first real family outing with my family and another friends and his family. This should be fun. The first time I will try and test it! I am off out ice skating. I will of course be keeping to the side lines and very much of the skates, but it will be good to see my family slowly retyurning to normal. Its amazing how much you take the little things for granted in this life and worry about things that really are not to be worried about!
