Hello everyone
I know there have been many people who have gone through a pregnancy with Crohn's. I am only 5 weeks this time around. Last year I miscarried at 11 weeks and I am scared for another or a bad pregnancy. I am not in remission going into this pregnancy (on remicaide and immuran) . As each week passes I see more blood in stool, now with each movement. My specialist doesn't seem concerned with the amount of blood she is more worried of the symptoms that go with it. So I guess that is good. I have few symptoms as things have been a lot worse in the past (before Pregnancy). So I would say I am mildly undercontrol but the blood scares me, bright red each time as usual. Blood is 100% coming from the bum so that is good too.
From what I have read if you go into a pregnancy in good enough state you have a good chance of hitting remission or things getting better. It is early yet but things seem to be getting worse for me. I just started added the immuran and she said it takes 2 months for it to kick in. Please no lectures on taking immuran it is not my choice at this point, if I could I would avoid it.
I just want a healthy baby and would love to hear that the second trimester for most got better.
Thanks in advance for those who respond. Hope everyone is having a better day than yesterday and if not maybe tomorrow will be your day : )
