Time between Remicade infusions

Its been 11 weeks since my last infusion. Usually I get them every 8 weeks, but the delay this time is due to a pesky upper respiratory infection that just won't give up. My primary doc has advised me twice to postpone the infusion. Luckily, I've made it the extra 3 weeks pretty much OK. A few days ago I had terrible abdominal pain and the proverbial D, but other than that, I've been OK. I"m curious how others on Remicade have done when needing to postpone their infusions. Also, how long have had to delay your infusions? Any problems while waiting?

I had to postpone mine once for 5 weeks because of a fever and rash...still no idea what caused either. I had a fistula break through, and was not doing well. Then this past summer I had to postpone it for 2 weeks because of a positive histoplasmosis, and it took me 3 months to get back to feeling normal again. Thankfully those are the only times in over 4 years that I've had to postpone it.
