Wii made me wee (and poo too)

We got a Wii as a fun way to get our 40+ bottoms off the couch this winter.  I am loving it and am getting more exercise than watching movies.  The problem is I am getting too into the tennis and bowling.  I move around so much that it encourages the potty sprint more.  The fitness test that gives you your age should include how fast you can make it to the bathroom in between turns!

I can't wait for summer and gardening, but this has been a great way to rid the winter blues.  This is great for those that can't get out and exercise...I can still get a little workout and be near the potty.  Anyone else trying it????

We bought our girls one for Christmas...I think my husband secretly wanted one. lol We all have so much fun playing! It's something we can do together while we are stuck inside.

I use the Wii fit - particularly the yoga, strength and balance exercises. My neurologist was thrilled that I was doing the balance exercises to improve. My balance is crappy from the neuropathy. I can't do all the exercises but find it helps me gets the kinks out.

I played Okami on PS2 and it was fantastic! Highly recommend! I became very attached to Ammy and Issun.

What kind of fruit do you have in your AC village? All I have are apples and coconut. If you have something different, could I get you to trade me some?

I do have Wii Fit. Unfortunately, I've never gotten off my butt to use it much.

You should check out http://www.goozex.com. The gist is that you list games you have to trade, get matched to people who want that game, and get points from their account. Then you have a list of games you want, get matched to people who want to get rid of it, and spend the points in your account. I have saved so much money! For instance, I got Lego Indiana Jones for 900 points and a trade credit (they cost $1, but I've got so many free ones from participating in contests, I've never actually had to pay money). I beat the game in about 2 weeks, and since it was still in high demand, I traded it for 900 points. I paid about $2.50 for postage to send it to the next person, and reused a bubble mailer (we have tons of these because my dad's meds all come through the mail). Of course this was an ideal situation, only being out postage to play a game. But if you play is smart, you can stay ahead.

Spookyhurst: if you are after new fruit for your town, I have learnt a little trick ;)

Send letters to EVERYONE in your town, with some sort of present attached (you can attach anything, just old stuff you don’t want or stuff from the lost and found) and some of them will reply. Keep doing this until one of the animals sends you a piece of fruit – it will often be a fruit from a different ‘season’. Once you get one piece of fruit, plant it and grow a tree – and then an orchard – the fruit from unseasonal trees sells for 500 bells a pop! So you can get 750 bells with a purse full of out of season fruit!!! This is a great way to pay your house off quickly – I only had orange trees growing in my village but started an apple orchard and now I’m rich!

If only It was that easy in real life ;)

good thing about wireless controllers..you can just sit on the pot and play from there..

My animals never send me anything good...usually crappy carpet and wallpaper. I think Winnie must have bought a gajillion polka-dot rugs at a TJ Maxx clearance sale, because she continually gives them not only to me, but to other animal neighbors .

hahaha I have animals like that too; they send you running around like crazy for them and then give you something really lame like a FISH to say thank you!!

Maybe try sending fruit to everyone and see what happens...... if you do it all the time they're bound to send you a piece of fruit sooner or later :)

!!! Animal crossing! I love that game. I have several different fruits in my town and cherries is the town fruit. Lemme know if you guys want to trade friend numbers and you both can come get whatever you like!

Yeah.. I obviously got a wii too. I do have to say I love the wii fit.. although it really does become work!

Another game to look into is Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. I am currently addicted... O.o.
