So I was at work today, had a great, relaxing morning. Everyone was happy, getting along, cheerful, etc. We have more staff until around 2:30, then we're down to about
2 technologists, and innevitably, that's when the s#*t hits the fan. So the afternoon today was actually kinda slow. I bring my Kindle to work every day, and today actually had enough time to finish a book, read email, and sit around. Low and behold the grumblings begin.....and the patients start showing up. So between xraying people, I'm fitting in the quickest potty breaks I can. It also never fails that when you really need to run to the bathroom, someone wants to tell you their life story, and you have to politely cut a conversation really short.
I just wonder why it is. It's like my body has it in for me....grumble, grumble "see if you can hold this in and finish your patient...ha ha ha" says the belly.
