I need to go but there is no toilet!!!!!!!!

I live in a student dorm.  The building isn't that old but everything is broken from the water to the heat.  I really have to go to the bathroom but there is no water to flush, and I already went once in the toilet.  If I keep going I am going to clog it.  Please tell me this has happened to someone else before.

It's a CD nightmare. Oh, no! Can you drive to a fast food place maybe? Borrow their bathroom?

I work at a college
If your buildings water is turned off...
Go to the gym.
Go to any foodservice dining area.
Try another residential area if you have access.
The library...
Flag down some one from housekeeping, I am SURE
they will help you...
Go to a campus store, they will help you.
The pool, weight room,running track(johnny on the spot)
There are more bathrooms per square inch than anywhere!

... and remember that you have special needs, just like a person with a more visible disability. You *need* a working toilet, so if your current dorm can't give you that, I feel that you have a right to be temporarily moved to a room that does.

It is not realistic to expect you to hike across campus every few minutes if you have bad d!

Also, if you can get a bucket of water somewhere you should be able to pour the water into the toilet to flush it. I guess you could go in one of the other toilets or if worst comes to worse you could go in a trash can and then throw it out in the dumpster. I would try to stay in another dorm until this is worked out.

What about a trash can and garabage bsgs you can tie and clean the mess later.. hope you have managed ... perhaps in the future you can get a contained with a lid for those toilet problems.. lol gail

Hey you got to go, you got to go. I would tell whoever is in charge that you have disablity that you have to have a working bathroom.

student services (not sure what your school may call it) will usually bend over backwards to help students. You just gotta ask. (at my school it was in the same building as financial aid). Just a thought.

Hope something works out for you.

Hindsight: Dorm life made me REALLY appreciate having my own bathroom when I got my own place...

This happened to me once visiting family. The well broke and no water for nearly 24 hours! I used the trash bag option. Good luck!
