Anyone on Humira not seeing any results

 I have been on Remicade about 3 years ago it healed my fistula and when i tried it again i had bad side effects from it,now i am on Humira for about 3 months i missed my dose twice due to infections and not seeing any signs of improvement i still run to the bathroom like i am in a marathon and throwing up not alot but its bothering me,i got cold sores so bad after my first 4 needles that i had to stop it for a while funny thing i never had them in my life and i also get thrust in my mouth alot the big demon and the dreaded yeast infections from all the antis we are so lucky not.So has anyone had any problems with the start of there Humira. I had so many bowel resections and ruptures,fissures,fistulas,abcesses,hemmriods,had my disease for 17 years now i lost count found out on my 13th birthday that was agreat day also had GI tubes for feeding for 11 months no food by mouth than all the central lines and TPNs you name it i had it. Any info would be great i am so down lately seems like things will never get better its hard when you take 2 steps forward and about 10 back. Onthecan, I've been on it for 1 month. Not much happening yet, bad or good.

I have failed remicade and the doctor told me i am now failing humira.he is going to put me on cimzia with 6-mp so hopefully that will help.I havent had the best of luck.I had a reaction with all the oral pills so now i am failing one by one the biologicals

hi julie thanks for your help i am glad to hear its working for you,those fistulas are terriable are they not i had mine for 3 years and tied open with a sionet i think that is what its called anyway,but the remicade healed mine and they were able to remove the devise that was held my bum open for to many years i am only getting frustrated nothing seems to work for me i was out of hospital now since December i spent another birthday in there on the 14th and got out 3 days before christmas with to much to do and i was to weak so i knew when it was getting close to hospital time i put up my tree and all my stuff mind ya when i came home its a good job i had a fake tree cause it was up a long time.I SPEND ALOT OF TIME IN HOSPITALS.But i feel better knowing it worked for you maybe just maybe it will work for me,had my disease since i was 13 now 35 numerous bowel resections and ruptures rectal surgery 5 times been hooked up to a gastrorostomy tube feeding me for 11 months that was my longest without eating it was so hard when i was able to again everything i liked tasted so bad and had the nasal tube which i put in and out myself for a while to let my bowel rest i still ran to the bathroom just as much ,but when i get sick i lose weight so fast i have to get that done now i use my central line cause my veins are shot its easier now no more i think i found a vein jenn and no more stay still your veins are tuff i know i will get you everyone wants to take a poke at ya right,you know what i am talking about i am sure you have been there by now. How long have you been sick? Do you have fibromylgia or arthritis as well i got both it sucks pain pain and more pain. Thanks for your reaponse julie. was on it starting back in 2007...no real results, then had a major blockage that required surgery (Nov 2008) so the doc thought maybe after the surgery the humira would be able to work.....it did not. Did my last injection two weeks a go....

There really was ZERO result! so now I am getting ready to start the cimzia cycle...oh boy, can't wait,...NOT! Just get tired of the cycle of drug failures. the only drug that worked was the Tysabri back during the testing days...but now I am hard pressed to find a gastro who will prescribe it..... I have to admit I was ready to go back on it but if so many doctors that I respect will not write it (including the one who ran the test with me) then I have to think maybe they are right.
